Freelance B2B Business Development Manager, Human Resources Services (Fully Remote)
NOTE: This is not an HR role, it is a SALES role with an HR focus

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Freelance B2B Business Development Manager to join our team on a project basis. This will be an independent contractor role that can be contract-to-hire for star performers who are interested in being brought on fulltime. If hired fulltime, the role will include a base salary of $60,000 plus a generous commission and bonus structure (first year OTE is $103,104 once in a fulltime capacity), full benefits and will be 100% remote. The trial period will last for up to 6 months (but could be ended at any time prior to that time period), at which time it will either be determined by both parties that it's a good fit to be hired fulltime or that it's not a good fit and part as friends.
As a Freelances B2B Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales of our human resources compliance services for small businesses - some leads will be provided but at least half of your leads should be self-generated. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proven track record in lead generation and full-cycle sales, and a strong understanding of the sales process.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to generate leads, drive sales, and achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and target potential clients through various marketing channels, including email campaigns, and social media.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive analysis, and customer needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, including cold calling, email outreach, and networking.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations to secure new business opportunities.
- Track sales pipeline, forecasts, and overall performance metrics, providing regular reports to management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, market conditions, and competitors' offerings.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and providing solutions.
- Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Proven experience selling human resources and/or payroll services to small businesses, preferably in a remote role.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and target-driven individual with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to track leads and opportunities.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- You must have B2B human resources/payroll sales experience
